Monday night I messaged @kendallevans75 to see if she’d want to wake up early to do a day trip to San Francisco. It was a scheme I had concocted after having one screwdriver and wondering what I should be doing for the whole week. Thankfully Kendall took no time in saying yes and off we went meeting up at the airport at 6 am. This job is all about the travel benefits. As much as I love the passengers I help on my flights sometimes we flight attendants need to people as well. We saw, we biked, we walked and walked and walked and eventually found food to take with us to the airport. My baby brother came out to snowboard for a few days this week and we had a great time together. This is one of the biggest reasons why I am so thankful for my job. It gives opportunities like this. Him being able to fly on my benefits made it less expensive for him to come out and test out the Utah snow and hills. We get some bonding time and I also get new goggles and neck and face warmer for flying him out. Plus weekday skiing and snowboarding is way less chaotic than going on a weekend. We went to Powder Mountain and Snowbird. It was also fun getting to go ski at a different mountain and meeting up with a work friend. There is no better feeling than the feeling of being able to take yourself to Paris or wherever else you want to go to or what you want to do. I waited years in and out of relationships waiting for the other to want the same thing and realizing that he never would. Go be your own Valentine, be your own travel companion, be your own dinner date, movie date, the one who buys flowers on a Wednesday just because. Can’t believe I’m already back from Paris. It’s amazing the modern age we live in being able to wake up in Paris and then go to bed back home in Utah in the same day. The Jet lag is certainly getting me today. I haven’t felt this jet lagged since becoming a flight attendant. But I shall pull through. I look forward too sharing my travel story of Paris next week through the blog and YouTube channel, forward today I plan on lounging and getting to bed early.
