January Musings

a little Irish tea tonight
I'll pay for it by morn' light
add a little extra
   dancing in the kitchen
can't do this again
      pull my strings
down the galley
  act a stoic
'and could you give a little'

Another roadside bar
  Another empty seat
'Oh but this is the life..I chose

     Another town
       Another night
I'll be alright in the morning
I'll slide back into my heels and gloss

Oh this world be damned!
I'm not sure its worth it

Oh but you could give it a whirl
Oh he gave it a whirl
Oh they gave it a whirl

And I chose another roadside bar
  Another empty seat

And her eyes shines bright
But dreams aren't worth a dime today

And what do we fight for anymore
This world will go up in flames
Oh it went up in flames

                       And it be damed
                          Another roadside bar
                            Another empty seat
